Tebeka in scientific lectures and the VDI festivities Konstantinos Alexopoulos, Tebeka´s Managing Director, has been participating in different academic and commercial events. The first of them are the Scientific Lectures organized by OTM S.A, one of the largest consultancy firms in Greece The lecture took place at OTM headquarters in Athens on 5th May 2006. The sessions consist on a series of conversations about scientific themes and for staff education. Konstantinos Alexopoulos offered a lecture on the topic of "Mechanical & Electrical Installations of Road Tunnels". The audience comprised of about 40 engineers of all disciplines, mainly mechanical, electrical and civil engineers. The sessions duration was about 1,5 hours, and was followed by a discussion with the audience that lasted another 1,5 hours. Moreover, Konstantinos Alexopoulos, as past president of the European Federation of Engineers, received an official invitation from the German Engineers Association (VDI) to attend the celebration festivities for the 150-year anniversary of the VDI foundation. The celebration took place in Berlin on 16th May 2006, and included a festivity act in the Berlin Concert Hall and a Gala-dinner reception at the Maritim Hotel. He had the opportunity to meet and talk with the past and present presidents of VDI, as well as the presidents of the respective associations of Spain, Portugal, Luxemburg, Holland, Austria, Slovenia, Slovakia, Poland, Russia, the Czech Republic, and China.
